Hasbro Update for 2009

I guess I'm in over my head because Hasbro has just announced that they are continuing with making transformers for '09! It's not a bad thing and I am not complaining but with everything (except my paycheck) is going up, how can anybody afford them? I mean it's getting really ridiculous with gas prices! I used to go from store to store the minute I found that a character was seen on shelves somewhere. Now it's "well I guess I can wait until they officially come out and know for sure that there will be some on the shelve!" or "I'm going to Target/Walmart Saturday, I'll just browse through the toy section."
