My ROTF review

I thought that it was an awesome movie!! There were so many satisfying G1 tidbits! Devastator, Soundwave (voiced by Welker himself!), Ravage, Energon, Pretenders, the first 13 cybertronians, a super-bad ass transformer from an obscure cancelled comic series (sick!) and even the Matrix of Leadership itself! Complete with a near death revelation!

A lot of people seem upset over Megatron's association with the Fallen. The IDW prequel comics shed a lot of light on that but yeah the best way to describe it is it's like Darth Vader and the Emperor. He's still No. 1 but there's also an older bad guy who can offer him a lot of power, and he kinda owes him for saving his life.

It was nice to see more of the cunning nature of that weasel Starscream this time around. His relationship with Megatron is more defined here than it was in the first film.

I was VERY disappointed in Arcee :( The film's only female Autobot, is wasted; she barely speaks, has no function, and no personality.

Devastator was AMAZING!!!!!! He needed a little more screen time though...

Prime's death had me on the edge of my seat saying 'what the???? . . .' You know you were too! Admit it! If Optimus Prime dying doesn't make you sad then you don't deserve to be called a fan.

Ending was a bit like an unsatisfying orgasm...
